Our Mission: To provide compassionate end-of-life care to those in physical or financial need regardless of the ability to pay.

LaVigne Home for Compassionate Care is a non-medical hospice guest house in Genesee County. We provide food, shelter, comfort, care and companionship. It is a place to call home when extra help is necessary. Our goal is to keep our guests and family members comfortable. Our home and caregiving services are provided at no cost to our guests.

Support Our Mission

LaVigne Home is a donation-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is made possible through the generosity of individuals, businesses, foundations, and community partners who believe that everyone deserves compassionate end-of-life care in a peaceful, home-like setting.

As a 100% donor-funded organization, every gift directly supports the day-to-day operations of our home and helps ensure that care remains available to those who need it most.

  • It costs LaVigne Home an average of $300 per guest, per day to provide care and support.

  • Financial contributions help sustain our mission and allow us to continue serving future guests and their families.

  • We also gratefully accept in-kind donations, including beverages, snacks, paper products, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other household essentials used daily in the home.
